June 29, 2018, Toronto, ON: Children’s Mental Health Ontario (CMHO) is pleased to welcome Premier Doug Ford as Ontario’s 26th leader and looks forward to working with his appointed cabinet.  CMHO congratulates Minister Elliott and Minster MacLoed and looks forward to working with the them, the Ontario Government and all MPPs to immediately enhance mental health policies and consult with the government on how best to allocate the promised $3.8 billion investment over the next 10 years in mental health, addictions and housing supports so that families with children and youth with mental health issues no longer have to wait for the life-saving services they need, where and when they need them.
