During the 2018 provincial election, Premier Doug Ford made an announcement on April 30, 2018 about the Ontario PC Party's plans for mental health investment in our province.
• $1.9 billion in funding over 10 years matched to federal funding for a total of $3.8 billion towards mental health, addictions and housing supports
• Premier Ford also indicated during the campaign, that his party would like to work with organizations, including CMHO, to allocate funding for community-based child and youth mental health services. CMHO looks forward to working with the newly elected government.
